When Barbara Wezensky entered a contest for a OBX vacation homes in North Carolina, she never imagined she would win. Lucky for her, her imagination was wrong, because she is the winner in the Atlantic Realty vacation referral contest. All she had to do was hit that very familiar “like” button on the Facebook page for the contest and she was not only entered, but she won $500 off a week’s stay at the vacation home of her choice through Atlantic Realty in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
The house she picked is a winner in its own right. Barbara chose the Todd House, which is a beautiful two story home only steps away from beach access and with plenty of room for a family reunion, group vacation, wedding party or whatever her heart desires. With five bedrooms, including three master suites, and 4.5 bathrooms this is a house that can easily sleep eleven people. In addition, it is a great party house with a game room complete with a foosball, a full size wet bar waiting for you to stock it up for your guests and a deck with private pool, hot tub and barbeque ready for any size group. It even has an outdoor enclosed shower to remove all that lovely sand when she returns from the nearby beach.
Of course, the full kitchen with open plan seating means everyone can enjoy meals together and not miss out on the amazing views from the full upstairs deck. Not everyone wants to party outdoors, and for those days when some time indoors is all you need; the place comes complete with 7 TVs, 3 VCRs, 5 DVD players and a stereo with a CD player, not to mention the game room. Luckily with all this video power, there is also plenty of privacy in the three master suites for those who just want some alone time. With the vacation home located in beautiful Jockey’s Ridge and only a thousand feet from the nearest beach access, there will be plenty of time for sunset walks or strolls along the beach. Our contest winner can even bring her dog along, as pets are allowed at the Todd House. What a lucky dog that would be!
